Lieutenant Miller entered the fire service in 1996 at the Rhea County Fire Department. He moved to Cleveland in 1999 to pursue a career with the Cleveland Fire Department. He has been with the CFD since 2000. During his career he has held the position of Firefighter, Engineer, and is currently a Fire Inspector/Fire Investigator. He has earned his Advanced-EMT license, Fire Officer II, Fire Inspector II, Fire investigator and many other certifications. Lieutenant Miller is a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters, the International Association of Arson Investigators, and the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson. He is also working on completing an Associate Degree in Fire Science.
