We are excited to open the newly renovated Cleveland Civitan Inclusive Park.  Attached are a few photos of the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting ceremony held on Wednesday, November 1st at 11:00 a.m.

The event was well attended despite the cooler temperatures. Members of the City Council, City School Board, Civitan Club, as well as Stuart teachers and students gathered to celebrate  Cleveland's only inclusive park.

"This park is a great asset to the community and it will be enjoyed by many generations to come", said Councilwoman Marsha McKenzie.

"A special thanks to all who had any involvement in the renovation of this great park.  I echo Councilwoman McKenzie remarks", said Vice Mayor/Councilman-at-Large Avery Johnson.

Additionally, the 5th Grade students held a contest to name the zoo animals.  The students announced the forever names, as follows: Herman the Hippo, Ellie the Elephant, Jumper the Kangaroo, Rory the Tiger, Gerald the Giraffe, Pam the Panda, and last but not least, Zippy the Zebra.

Special thanks to the Civitan Club for providing a great foundation for this park and for all they do for our community.
