Stream Cleanup
Twice a year, the City of Cleveland Stormwater Department along with Cleveland High School Biology Class and KAB (Keep America Beautiful) of Cleveland / Bradley County hold stream cleanups along South Mouse Creek. The first of these events happens in the spring and coincides with Earth Day, and the second is during the Tennessee River Rescue in the fall.

Project Wet
The City of Cleveland teams up with surrounding communities such as Bradley County, Hamilton County and the City of Athens to host two Project Wet (Water Education for Teachers) classes during the year. Project Wet workshops cover diverse water topics such as watersheds, water quality, and water conservation in ways that are easily incorporated into everyday lesson plans.

Classes
Each class consists of two parts, the first is held in a classroom environment and the second is an outdoor activity. In the past part of the outdoor activity has been snorkeling on the Conasauga River. These classes are typically held in the summer months before classes start back.
