Georgetown Rd. is acknowledged to be the "alternative" to the lights on Keith Street. At peak driving times, Georgetown Rd. becomes difficult to enter and leave, since there is no traffic controls to speak of between Harrison Pike and 25th St. The intersection of Peerless and Georgetown is especially dangerous since it is on a curve, the exit lane for Peerless requires no turn signal, and multiple close calls occur at this intersection every day. It also would help with the traffic flow, providing a better outlet for the people entering Georgetown on 20th St., and help those who are trying to enter from Peerless Rd.

Due to Prospect Elementary School, traffic is chaotic in the mornings and afternoons during school pick up and drop off. Traffic gets backed up and there have been accidents due to difficulty getting across Harrison Pike. There is a school zone speed limit in effect for that area but I think a 4 way stop or traffic light would help improve traffic situation during these busy morning and afternoon commutes.

Well we need a park here on 10th st ne so that the kids here will have a place to play and ride their bikes and such and get out of the roads. Right now they play in the roads and the cops have been called out here twice already about it and they have done nothing, so i am taking it higher up in hopes that something will be done about it. I have no kids myself but i am a concerned neighbor that don't want to see these kids get ran over and killed because they are playing in the road. There is a vacant lot on the corner of 10th st ne that is gonna be auctioned off on the 26th of this month, it would be a nice place to put a park for these kids to have somewhere to play. Thank You..

Many Bradley County areas do not have wired broadband coverage such as that offered in neighboring Hamilton County, with EBPFI. Many Bradley County residents work from home, their children need fast internet service to access school courses (which are increasingly online), etc. But these taxpayers are often forced to use expensive wireless services such as cell and satellite. To be affordable, most of these folks must get on a data-limited plan, which forces a cutoff after the limit is reached. Commercial internet providers are not offering their wired services in many Bradley County areas, even though they have been contacted by residents. Business in cleveland are tried of hearing truckers and harleys please enforce the noise ordinance.. thank you

This skatepark is greatly appreciated. it is. it was long awaited. by many. but many of us local skateboarders believe that this park wasnt built for the support of skateboarding, but just to get us "hooligans" out of the streets. Police constantly writing tickets, kicking skateboarders out of places etc. when really all we wanted to do was skate, not cause trouble not bother anyone. just simply skateboard. we came to the downtown area and other areas around the city simply because we love skateboarding, and didnt have a park at the time. though sadly it still goes on even after the birth of this skatepark at tinsley. why? because no effort was put into this park. i speak for all the local skateboarders when i say this park needs a few more obsticles designed by skateboarders for skateboarders. not a new park just a little more at tinsley. this isnt just a hobby its a passion for many and a career oppurtunity. this is what we love to do. all we want is a park thats worth going to.

It would be nice to see a grocery store that carries (name brands) in the south west Cleveland/Bradley County area. Currently resident have the options of Save-A-Lot (which does not carry many name brands) or driving to Wal-Mart on McGrady Dr or Walmart in Ooltewah (McDonald area residents). We have grocery stores conveniently located in northwest area (Fresh-N-Low on Georgetown) and Publix. North Cleveland has Wal-Mart (Keith St) and Food Lion (Stuart Rd). Cooke's and BiLo both north of 25th Street. South east Cleveland has Walmart (McGrady Dr), BiLo (McGrady Dr) and Fresh-N-Low (Spring Place). McDonald area is in Bradley County (both east and west of I75). The most convenient grocery store for this area is Wal-Mart in Ooltewah (taking money from our community and giving it to Hamilton county). Exit 20 was supposed to be expanding and would be a great place to put a grocery store that carries name brand items.

I recently made a connection to the Day family buried in Plot 15, # 348, etc. Dr. Samuel Houston Day, father of John Day who was the father of Dorothy Day. Dorothy Day became a very famous person in U.S./Catholic Church as a founder of the Catholic Workers Movement. Is there any way to fix the broken tombstones and clean up their area as well as the many others that have not been properly maintained?

I'm not talking (cans), I'm saying Paper, plastic, glass etc. The CDB wants you to subscribe to the paper, but only takes their paper back, Why couldn't Walmart have the bins behind the store and Soild Waste pick it up? Some of us care about the land fields and our generation ahead. Why not during the school Yr. have bins placed at the schools to teach recycling? I've called and stopped by recycling places and the biggest answer is it is not profitable. But in the long run it is, and its just the right thing to do! I've seen separated bins in small town tunnel hill Ga. that has taken a empty area and placed the bins, now that corner stays clean. In some medium size towns they have home tubs that you separate your recycle and SWA picks up. Come on Cleveland lets recycle and push for more drop off locations! Its just the right thing to do!!

As a Bradley County taxpayer now for over 6 years, and one NOT living in a remote location, I find it bizarre that no inexpensive (under $100 per month or so) wired broadband internet service is available in many Bradley County areas. With neighboring Hamilton County having EBPFI available for its residents, it would be great to see Bradley County adopting a similar initiative. I am writing in regards to nugget the mini pig. I'm asking that the ordinance be changed to allow mini pigs at a persons residence. If this was my pig I would be heart broke. They are like children, they truly are. Please do anything and everything in your power to change this ordinance so Nugget can come home to his family. Pigs are very smart they're smarter than dogs. They're very clean animals. This is not a farm pig this is a mini pig that is about the same size as a dog. They do no harm. I invite you to meet him. See if he can't change your mind on how loving these animals are. Nugget is currently going through a depression because of his separation from his family. They have feelings like humans and they get very attached to their family. I just pray that you find in your heart to let this family be reunited.
Thank you for all that you can do for Nugget.
